My Wedding Vault ("the app", "we", "us") helps you plan your wedding by keeping your suppliers, guests, checklist, to-do list, schedule and inspiration photos in one place. We take your privacy seriously and collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.
The app stores the wedding-planning information you enter, which may include:
By default, all of this information is stored locally on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email or location to use the core app.
When you add photos to your gallery, the app asks permission to access your device's photo library. Selected photos are stored on your device only. Photos are never uploaded to our servers and are not shared with anyone.
The app includes an optional "Vault" feature that lets you sync your plans across two devices — for example, with your partner. If you create or join a vault:
If you do not use the Vault feature, none of your data leaves your device.
With your permission, the app schedules local reminder notifications before your appointments (for example, the morning before a venue tour or dress fitting). These are generated on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and do not send you marketing messages.
Data stored on your device is removed when you delete the app or clear its data. For data synced to a vault, you can request deletion at any time by contacting us at the email below with your vault code.
The app is intended for adults planning a wedding and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
